Cheng Ling Jie (Jeremy) (曾令杰) | PhD, MPH, BSN (Hons), RN
Dr Cheng Ling Jie (Jeremy) is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU), Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford, and a Senior Tutor at NUS Nursing, National University of Singapore. His research focuses on health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), with a special interest in Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) to drive patient-centred care and healthcare decision-making.
Jeremy is a recipient of the prestigious Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent (START) Award and the NUS Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship, conducting research on maternal and child health outcomes under Associate Professor Oliver Rivero-Arias at Oxford. His work integrate integrates evidence synthesis and decision-analytic modelling to inform cost-effectiveness evaluations and estimate long-term societal costs and outcomes in this field.
Jeremy is an active member of EuroQol, ISPOR, and ISOQOL. He also serves on the EuroQol ECR Committee and the 2025 ECR Meeting organising committee in Barcelona. He has secured over SGD 1.14 million in research funding and published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles.
Jeremy is committed to academic mentorship and service. As a Senior Tutor at NUS Nursing, he mentors students and supervises research projects. He actively involves Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) panels, aiming to equip healthcare providers, especially nurses, with evidence-based tools to improve patient outcomes.
